With the launch a short time ago of the Radeon Pro line of GPUs, we’ve been patiently waiting for the launch of actual, physical products based on the line. Today we noticed that Sapphire had an interesting product sneakily added to their website, the Sapphire GPRO 8200. With specs somewhere in between the Radeon Pro WX7100 …

I noticed during extra testing of the SX700-LPT SFX-L power supply from SilverStone that I could trigger the Over Temp Protection with a heatgun before the fan kicked on. After asking SilverStone about it, I learned that the fan controller was set to only turn the fan on above 150W load to ensure that the …

AnandTech has the details on this new Mini-STX chassis from SilverStone, the VT01 (not VT101). As befitting the price it’s a simple enclosure made of 0.8mm steel (available in either black or silver) and it features VESA mounts, 1x 2.5″ mount, cutouts for wireless antennas, and not much else. It does not come with an …

Thermaltake releases a 24L ATX case with SFX mount

Thermaltake certainly surprised me with doing something that makes sense for some of us but is completely bonkers for 99% of the PC enthusiasts: an ATX case with only room for a single double-slot GPU, that’s relatively slim too. While the one GPU limitation is too much for enthusiast builds (arguably), it does allow one …

August 25 Update: Tom’s Hardware was told incorrectly and they’ve updated their article. The maximum slot power will continue to be 75W as it is currently with PCIe 3.0 but the total allowed power could maybe increase. The extra wattage will still come from PCIe power connectors on the card like it is today. Tom’s …

Tom’s Hardware has the scoop on Cooler Master’s take on a SFF AIO water cooler, the MasterLiquid Maker 92. It made a brief appearance at Computex earlier this year, but no details were available until now. Essentially it is a 92mm AIO, except instead of mounting the radiator to the chassis as in a typical water cooler, the …
