Yes, that Winamp. After over 4 years work over the last 8 years (thanks Covid…), Winamp 5.9 RC1 is now available for download. Featuring the same interface as it did when you used it on your Windows XP PC, the media player that sits in our collective nostalgic memories has now been updated. Now it has support for up to Windows 11, bug fixes, and an aim to set the platform up for future work.

To the end-user, it might not seem like there’s a whole heap of changes,
but the largest and hardest part was actually migrating the entire project from VS2008 to VS2019
and getting it all to build successfully.
