With the launch a short time ago of the Radeon Pro line of GPUs, we’ve been patiently waiting for the launch of actual, physical products based on the line. Today we noticed that Sapphire had an interesting product sneakily added to their website, the Sapphire GPRO 8200.
With specs somewhere in between the Radeon Pro WX7100 and WX5100, I believe this card is closer to the WX7100 GPU, a Polaris 10 product line, marking the first time we’ve seen a Radeon Pro card since the paper launch. Alas, AMD’s (amazing) YInMn blue does not make an appearance here, which is a real shame in my opinion.
Interestingly, it seems that the specs that we can find are similar to the WX7100 GPU, except two – the memory bandwidth and the TDP. Both of these have been reduced in the GPRO 8200 vs the WX7100, but the TDP drop is most likely to do with the memory bandwidth reduction, likely being from a reduction in vRAM clock speed.
