MSI has released the GTX 1050 Ti 4GT LP

SFF Forum member NateDawg72 has shared exciting news of MSI’s new low-profile GTX 1050 Ti 4GT LP on the forums. Without official news or any social media announcements, this card appears to have slipped completely under the radar.

MSI’s new GTX 1050 Ti 4GT LP card replaces MSI’s aging GTX 750 Ti 2GB LP that was released in November of 2014. This card, like the previous one, is a dual-slot, dual-fan GPU solution with a height of just 69mm. It requires no additional 6/8-pin power (max 75 watts) making it the perfect companion for that slim case with low-profile slots that you have been eyeing.

Here are the specifications as posted on MSI’s official product page.

At first glance the cooler seems to match the one used on the MSI GTX 750 Ti 2GB LP, which had two 50mm fans rated at 4,000 RPM. The decibel readings for that cooler at 50% load were around 27dB and at 100% load it jumped to about 40dB.

If we can get our hands on one we’ll be sure to write a thorough review.

Dec 15 Edit: Now in stock at Newegg for $155 plus shipping.
