Hardware Unboxed Tests Eleven B650 Budget Motherboards

Yeah…budget boards are up to $220 these days…

Hammer on Box’s Steve, seen above wondering when $220 became “budget” for a motherboard, took a look at eleven B650 motherboards. He tortures them with a Ryzen 9 7950X with two Asus boards hitting over 100C under load. The Asrock took the top two spots for temps, with 58C for the Asrock B650 Pro RS and B650M PG Riptide. MSI came in third at 65C for the Pro B650-P WiFi. Truth be told, everything he tested were under 80C under load except for the aforementioned Asus boards.

While the thermals were of course an important issue, Steve truly struggled with memory support on these B650 boards. Check out his review below.
