DonDan has announced that the CF-SFX V2 is being prototyped, and is looking for user input into potential motherboard support. Dan Cases posted a short two question survey asking if users would prefer Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX motherboards, and if they prefer air or water cooling.
Based on the few initial responses in the Small Form Factor Network C4-SFX forum thread, mATX with Air Cooling seems to be the general consensus with ITX board prices and availability being a concern.

For those that have never interacted with DonDan before, he regularly listens carefully and considerately to SFF enthusiasts suggestions, with many being implemented into his designs.
