Aqua Computer Releases A New Block – the Cuplex Kryos NEXT

15 years after releasing the first Cuplex CPU water block, Aqua Computer has launched a modern, hi-tech successor, the Cuplex Kryos NEXT.

Aqua Computer claims that the Cuplex Kryos NEXT currently has the best cooling performance on the market. The block has a very low flow resistance design, with high-precision CNC production and high value materials adding to the evidence towards their claims.

Integrated into the CPU block is Aqua Computer’s “VISION Technology”. This connects to your system via USB, and with the Aquasuite software, can be configured and controlled.

The unique innovative VISION technology can visualise almost any information at the display of the cooler. It is configured and controlled via USB using the familiar Aquasuite software, which takes temperature measurements directly inside the cooler.

Aqua Computer uses it’s patented VARIO technology in the Kryos NEXT, so that the shape of the cold plate can be changed from concave to convex for the first time, and thus, optimal contact to the heat spreader of the CPU can be achieved.

Models with a Plexiglas housing can be illuminated by an RGB-LED. The coolers with VISION technology integrate this, with the cooler’s colour changing in accordance to data like CPU temperature and CPU load. When it comes to the mounting system, Aqua Computer says the new system has been designed to be extremely user-friendly thanks to flush mounted springs, new backplates and fixed stops.
