For CES 2022, Acer has launched the Veriton Vero Mini PC with an emphasis on green computing. The unit is built with a 25% recycled plastics, and 100% recycled packaging. It’s VESA mountable, and comes packed with an Intel 12th Gen I9 CPU, and Wi-Fi 6E. The case, which bares a similarity in design to HPs mini-business based machines, can be mounted vertically or horizontally, and features a speckled color design with ventilation at the top. The specs will vary per model, but with Intel Alder Lake on board, there is likely at least one that will feature a Thunderbolt port for eGPUs.

While I’m personally not a fan of the way the case looks, I do appreciate the emphasis on using recycled plastics. Acer was light on the specs in their press showing, so I can’t tell you what else it includes. If this is typical of machines this size though, it should be priced between $800 and $1500 dollars depending on the specs, have room for at least two storage drives, and rely on laptop components.
