Is there a way to do the opposite and mount an AMD cooler on an Intel LGA 115- socket?
(fine print: I know the answer is "no," more likely than not. AM4, if memory serves, has wider spaced pins/screws so going from Intel to AMD is easy since you can finagle it diagonally.)

Wise words. There are some interesting apples-to-apples comparisons that can be done here as far as settling whose box cooler works better (or rather, just by how much better).
