I recently saw that Zotac had released a Mini RTX 2070, and it got me thinking, "Where are all the other Mini current gen GPUs?" So I just want to know, before I pull the trigger and buy the 2070 for my next build, is there any information out there, anything from confirmation of existence to solid release date of other current gen Mini cards? Namely the cards I'm interested in are the 2080 and its Ti version, the 2060, and the upcoming Radeon 7. Thanks for the help!

There is a Gigabyte 2070 itx already available and a MSI Aero itx coming, there is also the Inno3d 2070 at 186mm. The 2060 was just released so I am sure they are coming.

I wouldn't plan on a 2080 or Ti, considering the massive coolers they are using I doubt they can cool one effectively.

Radeon 7 is supposed to be released first half of February, no idea what that means for itx sized GPUs though, we might not see one until Navi.

I have the Gigabyte 2070, its a very good card. Think of it as a beefed up version of last years 1080 mini with better features. I would be surprised if we saw a 2080 or 2080Ti come out in the compact 170mm or less form factor anytime soon... or at all.

The 2070 is rated at 175W, while the 2080 is rated at 250W. That would be a tough for a single fan/heatsink to handle.

I had the MSI 1070 areo and it was an amazing card. I suspect that the MSI 2070 mini will be quieter at load than the Gigabyte and Zotac models, but I don't have one to test yet.

Totally agree with that. I also had a 1070 MSI Aero itx and amazing cooler for it's size, noise levels were very decent. I currently have the Inno3d 2070 and it does have a 0 fan mode and is very quiet at lower rpm's, full load it sounds like a jet turbine though.

Just read through your review of the Gigabyte RTX 2070 ITX, excellnt review, it looks like they have made some nice improvements with both the aesthetics and thermal performance over the previous generation.

The official specs list this card as 42.1mm thick which is 5.1mm thicker than their GTX 1080 ITX, I presume this extra thickness is mainly due to the addition of a backplate? Can you confirm if the card fits into the LZ7 with the side panel attached? The LZ7 has 40mm GPU clearance from the PCIe slot to the side panel, @lasek has tried to fit the MSI Aero ITX RTX 2070 (listed as 42mm - same as Gigabyte 2070) into the LZ7 but its just slightly too thick to fit with the side panel attached.

Thats unfortunate news about the MSI 2070. I can confirm that the Gigabyte version does fit in the LZ7. Its almost flush with the side panel, but it fits.

The 2070 appears to be slightly wider in front and back. I may do a comparison video or article on the 2 cards to show the differences soon.

Thanks for update. @lasek has since clarified that the MSI 2070 does fit, there was some sideways force from the cables pushing it toward the side panel.
