If you’ve been putting it off, or want to save your Intel 13th or 14th gen processor, now’s the time to look at updating your BIOS on any current(ish) generation motherboard. While Intel LGA1700 based board BIOS updates revolve around fixing the …disaster… that the 13th and 14th generation processors are turning into, AMD AM5 based boards can increase their CPU support to include the new AMD 9000 series processors.
MSI and ASUS amongst others have announced availability of updated BIOS files to patch the Intel issue, but do expect a possible performance decrease, as JayzTwoCents shows in the below video;

Note that any already degraded Intel processor will not be fixed by the BIOS update, and we’d suggest trying your luck with...

Just checked over at Asrock: They dont have an official news announcement about the Intel microcode, but I looked up all the ITX boards including my own (Z690 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB4), plus a few random mATX ones, and ALL of them get the current microcode update with the latest BIOS update.

Just go to their products > mainboard page, select your socket + form factor on the left side panel, then head over to the product page of your mainboard. Scroll down to the navigation, then click on "Support" => Bios, and there it is, in all its glory.

Acc. to dates, the Z790/B760 boards received the update first (9th of August), and the Z690/B660 board(s) got it 3 days later (12th of August).
