Can any improvements be made?
How should my fans be oriented?
* Black ridge fan as intake (suck air towards CPU) / exhaust (push air away from CPU)?
* A9x14 and A9 PWM as intake / exhaust?

Wow is there not a cheaper ITX board in your country?

Maybe: ASRock B550M-ITX/ac I know this board does not have the internal Key-A Header, but it could be cheaper if you buy an USB 20pin to Key-A Adapter with extension cable.

Btw. the 450W version of the Corsair SFX is enough.

Yeah, unfortunately the only motherboards with the internal Key-A header are around $300 CAD.
Do you have any recommendations/link to an adapter that is compatible with the mobo/Dan A4? I found this but I'm not sure it will have any issues with the black ridge cooler and case.

Are you sure 450W is enough for a Ryzen 3600X and RX 6800? I heard there were power spikes with the 6800.

Please check out the dan-cases.com FAQ page for the USB adapter question. You need an adapter + extension cable. The Blackridge will work

Hi Danno, I'm getting a similar build as yours, but with 5600x and 3080XC3 (Canada Computers Halifax says wait a few months).
How did you get the case and cooler? W360MOD/SFFlab?
I also heard the i/o shroud of the Asus Strix would not fit the Black Ridge, did you have any mobo compatibility research you can share? or does i/o shrouds have no function at all and I should just get the strix?
Other than the Strix, im looking at ASRock B550 Phantom ITX, and MSI B550I Edge

Hey, I ended up purchasing the case on the /r/hardwareswap subreddit and the black ridge cooler on OCUK. The cooler was a bit of an impulse buy at around $110 CAD after duties.

According to this redditor, the asus strix is compatible with the cooler if you don't use the m.2 heat sink.

The asrock phantom gaming looks to have no issues.

The msi mpg gaming also seems to have no issues. However, on the /r/SFFPC discord, I was told to stay away from the msi b550i mpg because of quality issues and the front panel usb c only supports speeds up to 5gbps compared to asus and asrock 10gbps
