Hello,

I just wanted to double check if the temps I am getting with my are ok.

While gaming I am hitting ~78C and idling at ~45C.

I was expecting ~65C for gaming, specially with the 2 extra fans, so I don't know if I did something wrong is just my paranoia.

Thanks in advance =D

What is the CPU fan speed at 79°C?
How do you monitor temps?
Did you tried undervolting? (Offset -0.07V)
How much thermal paste did you attach?
What are your temps with side panel off?

Hey, dondan!

I turns out my cpu cooler was not well seated. I removed everything, reapplied thermal paste and tie the screws properly and now it looks like the thermals are a bit better.

I am getting average 72C with a max 73 while gaming, without hitting the max fan speeds.

But to answer you questions:

1. The cpu fan speed curves were set to max everything if temps went over 75C.
2. I was using a combination of Core Temp and CPUID HWMonitor to check the temps (Core Temps keeps the temp logs every 10s).
3. I did not try to undervolt the cpu.
4. I tried the usual pea size method, but it is no use if the cooler is not touching the cpu at all points =p.
5. I did not check the temps without the side panel.

Ok great. With 72°C the temps are good. If you like to lower them (5-7°C) set offset Voltage to -0.05 or - 0,075V. Also a fan duct (3D Printable files https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3003566) Will reduce the temps another 5°C. So i think 62°C is possible :)

I installed the fan duct and could not be happier.

It dropped my average while gaming from 70°C to 64°C.

You should consider make it as an additional feature for the case =D
