Stalled This is what I've been working on lately (4.3L watercooled)

Does it look gray? I was going for clear, but still industrial. I mistakenly left the wrong font on that one too And the name is not final, that's just the only thing I could think of.
Ah yeah, I see. Does look a bit gray to me, but I can see clear working well :)

Hi @SenorDonut i am wondering what hardware you will be cooling with that tiny radiator besides 1060? Do you think if make custom dual 60mm 32mm thick radiator with 30fpi and put dual 9GAs that it would be able to cool GTX 1080 TI and R7 1800X at stock and the 1080 TIs power limit set to 80%? Thanks.

I believe first post mentions using a R7 1700. As for the rest, it honestly depends on how comfortable you are with 1. Noise and 2. Heat

Right now I have a 4770K, I don't know if I'll have the budget to update to Ryzen. I also don't know how this will perform, but it's 45mm thick with a fin density of 12. I'll update you when I test it though.

I dont care about noise as long as it doesnt go above 60 db when fans are on 100% and as far as the heat goes i am comfortable with almost TJ MAX for the cpu and 75C for the gpu. Also i have a question for you @Biowarejak. Do you have a video or a link on how to make custom radiator?

Yes, I got your pm. Unfortunately I've been busy and haven't had time to make a video yet. I plan on doing a design revision beforehand.

I had 2x 240mm rads in my build for 2x r9 nanos and an i5-4690k. It was more than enough rad space. Honestly it was fine with 1x 240mm for what I was wanting (Silent operation) but people become "keyboard warriors" when you dont have 120mm*Components+120mm worth of rad space.

With 1 rad it was around 75C loop temp and with 2 rads it was around 65C loop temp at full throttle. Fans were scythe slipstream 1200rpm models so not the best use case, but they were the only ones that fit properly lol.

The maximum rated temperature for both D5 and DDC type pumps is 60C. PTEG's heat deflection temperature is 69C; acrylic is a little higher, but still under 100C. Some thermal pastes also have lower maximum temperatures of 80C, where they will dry out above that.

Ok, update time again! So I've decided to do a few budget cuts in order to start the project faster. This means I'll have to cannibalize some parts from my current rig.

MB: Gigabyte GA-Z97N WiFi
CPU: i7-4770K
GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 Mini
SSD: 240GB PNY CS1311
RAM: 16GB DDR3

In addition, guryhwa said he could hook me up with a smaller 1Kw PSU. No word on cost yet though :(
I also found a slightly better radiator: Black Ice Nemesis M160GTX (16FPI vs 12)

But the important part of the post is I'm not sure what fans to use. I could either use Sanyo Denki 9HV (177.8mmH2O pressure and 66.4 CFM airflow or 9GV (76mmH2O and 84.38CFM). Should I opt for more pressure or more airflow? I'm curious because the 9GV are cheaper.

Generally, pressure. I'd say that for sure in a tight space like this.

Wasnt you going to use dual 60mm rad? That HW Labs one is dual 80mm. Also what waterblock do you plan on using with 1060?
