Not satisfied with the original mounting method, I decided to buy the after market bracket and mod it a lil bit in order to use the original AM4 backplate that comes with motherboard.
This is the older version of AXP-90, now there is newer version which has a slightly different mounting bracket & dimension.
original mounting
only 4 nuts at the back, not having balanced pressure
So i bought this:
but the nut is too long and touching the AM4 backplate before fully tightened
So i cut it with grinder
Now the gap is enough to have the heatsink tightened properly
I bought this type of knurled thumb nut of size M2.5
Now it can be mounted with the AM4 backplate that comes with mobo
And take note that now the air is blown to top and bottom instead of to left and right
