I repaste my cards before I sell them if there aren't any warranty stickers in the way and found this interesting example of the explosion method on a 1060 FE. There was actually some in the heatsink as well so I'm not sure what happened with this little guy, either way it ran fine as has been proven many times over that it's better to have a bit too much than too little. This card was purchased new and sealed so I've been the only one to take it apart. Bizarre because the 1080 FE I took apart a few minutes later had its paste applied really well!
