Well, the 3000 series had a large amount of SFF ITX GPUs capping with the 3060ti which was roughly as powerful as a RTX 2080. There is a good chance we will see something in the RTX 3070 to RTX 3080 speed. I haven't heard anything from company reps yet.

There aren't any SFX PSUs with native 16pin but there will be soon.

I have used the Louqe Cobalt cable in my MI-6.

Never got anny "large ammonts" of itx cards where i live 😀 And the MSI aeros seemed to take a step back from the awsome1070, with the 3060 ti beeing noisy and no zero fan mode. lets hope someone makes what a great card.

Waiting Corsair to release a 2x8pin to 12VHPWR itx cable for SF600/750. seem to remember optimum tech has a custome cable of sort in his last builds. That silverstone psu seems great, Im sure Corsair and others are working on the new standards to.

I do miss the zero RPM mode from my 1070 Aero. Such a good card. I found that the 3060ti, if you can find one, improved substantially through undervolting. Barring that having good exhaust flow will help substantially.

If only that was its only issue... the 3060 Ti was borderline a paper launch at least in the UK. It seems that MSI didn't really want to use a significant portion of their 3060 Ti allocation for their Aero ITX design. Unfortunately, it probably wouldn't make any sense for them to do any different. At this point there's almost dozens of us who still require a <190mm card!

So I'm not really optimistic when it comes to the GPU upgrade path in this case, although I sure am hoping to be proven wrong.

If anyone wants one of these, I've been trying to get rid of mine. Was a solid case for a few years and served me well!

I’m pretty sure that you’ll see a 4070 Aero ITX

Lets hope, ive lost faith when one cant find a custom dualsot card. yet alone an ITX format :)

tech yes review has a crazy undervolt with card pulling sub 140w so its possible.

I tend to be optimistic about 4070 ITX, 4060Ti, or 4060 in single fan format.

After all, XX60 is Nvidia's mainstream GPU, the bread & butter. If they can saturate the market with XX60 or XX70 in various formats (3 slots, 2 slots, ITX, low profile etc.), then it's a win for them.

(The same goes for AMD)

The Palit SKUs for a single fan Stormx variant of the 4060Ti has leaked. Looks like we'll be getting it. Raw power should be at roughly an RTX 3070, but it only has a 128 bit bus and 8GB of GDDR6.

Seems just nice for 1440p? (And obviously for 1080p)

Power draw & thermal remain to be seen tho. I am hoping it can be around 175w max.

But really, what a time to be alive.

I remember that 2 years back, the most powerful GPU you can use with this case was RTX 2070, as some variants were quite short (Galax White 2070, MSI Aero 2070, or @rfarmer's INNO3D 2070 here )

Now we have 4060 & 4060Ti, and potentially (or hopefully) something from the 4070 range as well.

I'm still kicking myself for getting rid of mine, a 4070 in here would be so good.

4060 and the Ti variant are trash tier GPU's, the die was intended for xx50 cards which ofc historically is nothing but a basic output / HTPC media playback card.
We'll never see a 4070 Single fan card, it's above the standard 170w TDP threshold for the single fan class cards.

Ngreedia have screwed the consumer hard this Gen all round, if you pay those prices (which millions will) all you reinforce is it's fine for them to carry on doing it.

Hopefully in the next couple of years, iGPU's will become strong enough to kill this class of card. It's a cash grab.
Same for AMD with the 7600, it costs buttons to make on that 6nm process. They too will milk you hard for one.

What a time to be alive? You are joking right? pmsl

Damn, people got no chill these days.

I wasn't joking. If you're able to comprehend the context, it's about the latest GPUs that we can fit within this CCD MI-6 case.

Whether it should be priced at x$ instead of y$ is a different story.

We'll never see a 4070 Single fan card, it's above the standard 170w TDP threshold for the single fan class cards.

Agree, whether we'll see a 4070 single fan card remains to be seen.

That said I'm not sure that single-fan class card must be within 170w TDP threshold. For example, we had MSI 3060 Ti Aero which is a single fan 200W GPU.

4060 and the Ti variant are trash tier GPU's, the die was intended for xx50 cards which ofc historically is nothing but a basic output / HTPC media playback card.

That "xx50 basic output / HTPC media playback card" helped yours truly to play yesteryear AAA titles on a limited budget. It allows me & many others to game & at the same time still able to pay our housing mortgage, sending our kids to school, paying their tuition fees, and so on. For you it's a trash, for us it's a gift.

Ngreedia have screwed the consumer hard this Gen all round, if you pay those prices (which millions will) all you reinforce is it's fine for them to carry on doing it.

Your disapproval of Nvidia's (and to certain extent, AMD's) product pricing strategy is dully noted.

Unfortunately, there's nothing much we can do here. I suggest you voice it out in Nvidia and AMD forums instead.

Haven't seen any MSI cards yet?

Stil hoping for a 4070 itx. PulluIng less than 150w With a proper undervolt, it qould be a great card

So far no news about 4070 ITX. Probably they will play the wait & see games for a while.

I'm a bit pessimistic it can pull less than 150 watt though. It would probably be easier to reach number that with the 4060Ti, which by default runs at 165 watt.

Edit: that said I'm not an expert overclocker, so yeah maybe it's possible :)

Edit2: Why specifically MSI btw?
