Credit to Mark Tyson of Tom’s Hardware for spotting this. Reddit user TechTaxi has created his own SFF version of the RTX 4080 by using a Gainward RTX 4070 cooler with some modifications. The results is a 2-Slot 269mm long cooler that lost no performance compared to the monstrous stock cooler. The short and quick of it is that temps went up by about 20C but there was zero performance loss. The temps were still well within specs for the GPU.
