Hi all,

My current setup:

5800x
CM Nr200P
EVGA RTX3080 XC3
Noctua C14S with additional NF12's for side intake.
1 top fan exhaust
2 slim fans bottom intake
Installed on Gigabyte I Aorus X570 pro wifi

long story short, very happy with the build, but there's 1 specific thing many have encountered with the card: it's cooling.
since I have undervolted the card to where performance is not hit that much, in both 1440P and 4K, I am still thinking if there would be a way to address fan noise at 72c.
The only solution I could find that from a value perspective makes sense is the hybrid cooling solution from EVGA. But that will not fit the case in combination with the side mounting of the radiator and any air cooler.
CPU cooling is excellent, so the question is, is there a case that would be a perfect match for both CPU downdraft cooler like the C14S and enough room for the Hybrid cooling solution? Or swap the C14S and case...
Any ideas are more than welcome.

cheers

If you find a shorter cooler to use, the Meshlicious could serve you well IMHO. IIRC a NH-L12s should fit, but I could be wrong (my meshlicious is CPU+GPU watercooled) XD

Yeah, thanks for that! I just saw a post on it. I was so hoping that the nr200P was the case for me, but might have been the Max, which was not available at that time. Would have allowed me to side mount the hybrid kit and exhaust from the back and bottom

To improve your gpu temp and so reduce the noise

- change your side intake to exhaust
- if not good enough look if you can do the gpu shroud removal mod with your graphics card (you will need to replace the slim bottom intake fan by standard high pressure fan.) like this :
