I am building a silent server using a DB4 and have bought an HDPlex 400w PSU: Kustom PCs - HDPLEX 400W HiFi DC-ATX (2.0 Version)
I know others have done the same but I cannot find anywhere about how it was attached. there is an option to screw it to the supplied motherboard plate but this would mean not using the case as a heatsink (which it is designed to do).
If I bought thermal sticky pads and attached the PSU to the case (internally) using just the pads, what is the risk of it falling off at some point? And if you built this configuration what did you do?
