Hi y'all,

Just wanted to share my little mod of the Stock Intel HSF. I sawed off the fans and the fans post leaving only the heatsink shroud. I then found some extra 90mm fan mounts laying around and muscled my way around to mount it on the Intel HSF.

My rig died so I was ordering parts for a new rig. Ordered the PSU (SF600 Plat) and cooling components (C14S, NF-A12, NF-A9) first. Decided to try my luck with the new PSU and my system booted. So now im waiting patiently for Ryzen 4000 to release before upgrading.

The stock intel fan has bothered me since the start cause it so damn loud. Decided to tinker my way around it since I got the 90mm fan now.

As for the temps, I havent did any before test but from what I've remembered . I am getting the same temps as I did in game BUT the cooler is silent now.

My current card is a 980ti, Im tempted to get the Accelero II for it but im unsure how old more it will continue working before dying so im quite hesitant.
