One of the chief concerns about Valve's Steam Deck was that Steam OS didn't support several major anti-cheat programs. This would render several games unplayable. Thankfully, it seems at least Epic's Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye will be joining the Steam Deck party. These announcements will ease the worries of many gamers, while also opening the door to increased Linux support for games.

For those that do not know, the Steam Deck is a fully fledged Linux based computer running Valve's Steam OS. It's based on a AMD APU, and will be the PC equivalent of the Nintendo Switch. Once docked, you can connect a mouse and keyboard, and have a fully functional computer. Additionally, Windows can also be installed.
