Good afternoon guys. My name's Walter and I'm from Massachusetts in the US. I currently work IT as my day job, but I've been a lifelong tech enthusiast since I was a kid. I've always built and fixed computers for friends and family, and even did two personal ATX builds before. This time, I want to take a crack at an all-AMD ITX build. Like many others, I saw HardwareCanucks and Level1Tech's builds in the Sliger SM580, and I knew right away this would be my next case. I love that you can use a 280mm AIO in this case which just so happens to be recommended by AMD for a 3950x. I was looking for input on things that I can improve and/or save money on. Quite frankly, I specced this machine to be an absolute beast. Some changes I were thinking were to start off with a 3600x to start and then the 3950x would be a drop in upgrade down the road. But my main goal was securing the Sliger case first, and then the actual components. Once again, glad to join this community and meet y'all!

Hi, nice to meet you. I'm in the same situation as you, plus we'll be sharing almost all components (except for the graphics card). Did you look at the x63 kraken instead of the x62? I'm waiting for the sm580 case, I was going to buy the ncase m1 this Saturday, but this sliger case is perfect.

Hey Kazker, I was considering even the z63, but I wanted to use vented panels for both sides to maximize airflow. I was also thinking doing all exhaust for the four fans. I won't know for sure until my parts start coming in. But I definitely want the SM580 first so I can give it an inspection and also figure out how I'mma lay things out

Yes, I'm also considering buying the z63 but that's what you say with ventilated panels i don't know if it makes much sense although in an Optimun tech video he uses it and it seems that something can be seen through them... I'm still waiting for my case. Let me know how your build progresses!
