If this ends up having 75-80mm of internal height, which it might with a SFX PSU, then it may also support a low-profile GPU plugged directly into the motherboard.

I can see options for interesting builds outside of just gaming ones, as the GPU area could then support a radiator, or HDD/SSD storage for NAS builds, etc.

I understand they want to pace their teasers and not reveal everything until they have things more finalized; but, I really wish they would give a case overview. It would have been interesting to know what the issues were with the prototypes.

For me the most important info is the dimensions.

I'm considering moving my existing PC into this case if it will work and having it placed under a monitor riser on my desk.

I'd like to know which GPUs and CPU Coolers will work.

I completely agree. I've been trying to use the IO shield cut out to guesstimate the max cpu height.

What's your guess based on that?

Sadly, I'm thinking 70mm is not going to be possible. Unless of course I mod the top panel with a "hood scoop"! XD
I want to go on record that I'm winging it by measuring pixels and with the knowledge that an IO shield is about 44.5mm. I could be 100% wrong with my estimate.

But, it looks like the case could be around 80 to 85mm thick. Taking panel thickness, standoff height, etc into account the max cpu cooler height could be around 65 to 70mm.

Edit: After looking a little closer some of those aluminum frame pieces look pretty thick. My CPU height estimate could be on the generous side.

Josh just showed off some beta 3D renders (subject to change) of the case in his Discord. It's good to see some of the bones of this case in its entirety.

This is based on a beta CAD preview of the Skyreach 5 MINI. Dimensions and details may change.

Based on these I'm guessing we're going to see very similar dimensions to the Thor Zone Tetra S, which also allows for a 3 slot GPU, and up to 55mm CPU Coolers.

I agree; Josh said the following on Discord a few days ago:

"The S5M supports the 4090FE and 4080 SUPER FE, which are 3 slot GPUs 305mm in length, SFX-L power supplies, and can match 54mm of cooler height, so yes, the loadout is similar. I have no idea what the GPU length for the Tetra S is, so I can't comment there.

I'm avoiding specific dimensions because we need tweaks, a mm here, a mm there. So that's one reason I don't want to give cooler height and other dimensions. But again, it will fit the 4080 SUPER FE, and all SFX-L PSUs (even the cheeky ones that are a little longer than spec) and the target is not to exceed 10L while not trying to chase every last volume metric at the expense of quality of life or asthetics."

Big updates today! Josh posted a video to the NFC YouTube channel going over some color options and pricing. It's going to be $175 to $195 depending on picking PCIe 4 VS 5. It's not out just yet but Josh said it will be out very soon.

I have slightly mixed feelings on the NFC team working with NCase as I've heard some not great things about them lately but I trust Josh and the case is looking great. He said that another video should be out next week with some components inside of it.

Sigh, I'll refrain from commenting re: the partnership.

Nevertheless, I think I may end up buying this one...
Yeah the fact that he is involved and knowing the interesting stuff that happened in a certain discord makes me hesitate on buying one

Agreed. I'm very excited for it, but to be honest I'm disappointed that the side panels will be black even if you choose a silver case. I would have loved a completely silver case with a wood front. I'll probably just go with a black case now with a wood front.

It looks like we also got a sneak peek at the case stand (unless it's just a place holder).

The temperature and noise results seem pretty good for the size of the case. Way better than my Sentry 2.0 right now.
