Very nice mod (but you have to have skills & tools..;))...however you can skip 280 and move to 240 to make it easier..;)
I have some tools to do that. I might have skills for this drilling process but still afraid of doing that. :)

Well, regarding your CPU cooling, the only benefit I see to mod Ophion is to make compatible (recycle) your H115i with it..:)
Have you checked that it fits Ophion with no other issues than those fixing points? You can even go for half mod (create hole only for half screws, in cross)

If yes, well, I guess it can worth it...:)
