Hey everyone, I can get 16Gb of HP Server RAM for pretty cheap, contemplating putting it on to a AORUS PRO WIFI B450I motherboard. I don't see it on the approved list of memory, so I was wondering if anyone had any success with using server memory on an ITX build before.

RAM - M393A1G40EB1-CRC
Motherboard = Aorus Pro Wifi B450I
Case: ZS-A4M

Thanks!

I did a quick google on the RAM model # and it said RDIMM, which won't work on consumer boards.

You'll need UDIMM. ECC UDIMM might work depending on the motherboard / cpu, but non-ECC is the safe bet.

Thanks for the reply, decided against taking the risk with server RAM and ordered some regular G.Skill ones.
