I'm upgrading my APU build and I'm looking at the CPU cooler option.

My case has a 60mm clearance (inwin b1), what do you guys reckon would be the best fan to quietly handle the load of a 5700g?

For now, I'm using a Noctua L9A (37mm) but the CPU is running a bit hot and I'm wondering if there's a better option to use more of those 60mm to keep things cooler.

Noctua cooler will take a 25mm thick 92mm fan too - might be a cheaper alternative to a replacement cooler.

For me, considering how little leeway you have while still getting the best possible performance, then you need a Full Copper CPU Cooler, which leaves you with only three valid choices:

Thermalright AXP-100-Full Copper

Can dissipate up to 180 Watts TDP
Max height: 58mm
Heatpipes: 6 Heatpipes of 6mm diameter
Heatsink weight(without fan): 560g of pure Copper C1100

Thermalright AXP-90R Full Copper

Can dissipate up to 120 Watts TDP
Max height: 47mm
Heatpipes: 4 Heatpipes of 6mm diameter
Heatsink weight(without fan): 470g of pure Copper C1100

Thermalright AXP90-X47 FULL

What is the difference with the AXP-90R Full Copper seen previously? This one is a revised version (released this year in 2021, while the AXP-90R was released in 2016), the revision was mainly carried out for incompatibility reasons (a millimeter too much there, half a millimeter of too many here, etc.) especially with the MiniSTX motherboards of the ASRock DeskMini A300 and X300 as well as other DeskMini models with Intel chipset/socket. The Heatsink weighs 30 grams of copper more than the old model and therefore apart from the details mentioned above there is concretely no noticeable difference in performance between the AXP-90R Full Copper and its revision the AXP90-X47 Full.

Can dissipate up to 120 Watts TDP
Max height: 47mm
Heatpipes: 4 Heatpipes of 6mm diameter
Heatsink weight(without fan): 500g of pure Copper C1100

Please note, having been released very recently, its availability in certain countries could be very limited, for example I live in France and only 2 commercial sites offer it to me: a local site at a fairly expensive price and one of the pro AliExpress sellers in offers for a decent price (shipping costs depending on your country) here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002979030222.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.32933b67tOvvVU&algo_pvid=5d6c4838-0d2f-4d74-9b4a-b2630e130df1&algo_exp_id=5d6c4838-0d2f-4d74-9b4a-b2630e130df1-1&pdp_ext_f={"sku_id":"12000023043335101"}

If the price of the AXP90-X47 Full on AliExpress does not suit you, fall back on the AXP-90R Full Copper (the same product with some small millimeter detail) which will certainly and significantly more available whatever your country and the prices offered will necessarily be much better given its better availability.
