Concept Powertrip’s Black box

I am brainstorming a case idea similar in shape to the original X-Box. But I plan on having the motherboard IO exiting on one of the sides/ends. I want to do something similar to the Dan Case A4/NCase design with the GPU sandwiched over the motherboard.

I want to find a shallow case with an appropriate backplane if possible. I’d prefer not to shell out $200 for a complete case that I’m just going to dismantle.

So if you all have any suggestions, it would be appreciated
