PNY’s “PNY GeForce RTX 3060 12GB XLR8 Gaming REVEL EPIC-X RGB Single Fan Edition” is a RTX 3060 card measuring 17 x 12.5 x 4 cm. It has a boost clock of 1852 MHZ and is a rebrand of a Gainward design.

Personal Take:

There are nuclear launch codes with less characters!

Can we declare that for something to be SFF the name also has to be SFF? This is an ITX card with an EATX name. If your video card length matched the size of the name, we would need server length cases to mount this thing. By the time you can memorize the name, the RTX 4000 series will have launched.

I’m buying the MSI just so I don’t have to ever type out PNY GeForce RTX 3060 12GB XLR8 Gaming REVEL EPIC-X RGB Single Fan Edition again.

Why can't a brand just focus on simplicity:

1. sober and functional design
2. RGB as an add-on
3. clear designation of performance/features
   E class = budget line
   S class = silence focussed
   P class = performance focussed
   Z class = bells, whistles and OLED display

I don't get the product design of GPUs, it's as if there's a secret competition between brands who think they can sell the most of their ridiculous designs.
