you have to buy the computer from here, in either 9th Gen or 10th Gen : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001164528072.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.46603c00ugB2SB&mp=1

Another fun note - Unit seems to work fine on a 12v supply. My supplier forgot to pack the normal supply (which I thought was 19v), and I've been happily putting along with my functionality tests with a 12V/7A adapter.
Yes ?if you had a powerful enough 12V supply, could it also be used to power a low-profile GPU ??
i want to use only 1 power supply, for both system and GPU.
low-profile GPU is connected via M.2 to PCIe adapter.
If you are designing a case for this, would people have to buy the complete mini pc or are the bare boards available somewhere?
just wanted to update this with the latest info.
this system is now available from aliexpress.com, in 10th Gen i9 and i7 CPU versions.
also, my custom case is now made out of metal. approximate dimensions - 223mm X 179mm X 69mm [ 2.75 litres ]
design credit to NFC Systems. here's a photo of its metal panel, before its folded to make my case :
Any progress on your custom power supply? Will it match with the case design?
Yes ?
As long as the adapter has external power input.
Also I apologize I haven't gotten anywhere with my build, renovations and work have kept me busy... My build should have a gtx 1660ti so I'm also planning to use an m.2 to PCIe adapter, and an internal 12v Psu
I'm going to use a full size GPU. The case looks nice ?i've gotten a GTX 1650 Lp to fit in my case.
photos are in this thread - https://smallformfactor.net/forum/t...taker-b18-mini-pc-with-low-profile-gpu.14625/

I more meant full height rather than LP. The card I have is approximately 200 x 112mm. The pcb is 190mm so it has ~10mm of fan shroud that can be lost.by full size, do you mean longer than 173mm ?
and wider than 115mm ?

I've been planning my own for my build with my 3d printer ? I'd be interested to see what yours comes out like if you make a prototype. I have 2 other cases I need to finish before I make this one so I've been delayed.i'm highly considering a case, which fits this GTX 1660 Super, which is 173mm X 111mm : https://www.zotac.com/lk/product/graphics_card/zotac-gaming-geforce-gtx-1660-super-twin-fan
