My my, how many eager manufacturers that are releasing the next step in storage ! I hope they all are reliable, to avoild the problems OCZ and Crucial have had in the beginning. Talking about Crucial, I'm curious what their offering will be, they mentioned it early this year.

OCZ has Toshiba's resources, expertise, and NAND backing them up now so I'm cautiously hopeful. It's a shame because my second SSD was a OCZ 30GB Vertex that I paid $130 for back in 2009, still works too :)

OCZ, at least here in Canada, has always had great CS, regardless of some of their product lines being mediocre and/or unreliable. As long as that is maintained along with the benefits of being acquired by Toshiba, they will likely be considered top tier once again.

My OCZ Vertex 2 60GB gave up (luckily) in it's warranty period, replaced it with a Crucial M.4 128GB which also gave up in the rest of the original OCZ's warranty period and it was replaced by the Samsung 830 256GB I have now.
