If you want to squeeze out every little frame of ypur system go for 9900ks now witch still will be a good option for the future but maybee not the latest and greatest tomlrrow.damn i think you have me sold. i was thinking of going for a 3900x since its close to the same price i was already going to spend on the 9900k. what do you think? or should i just stick with the 3800x? and hell yeah i will forsure upgrade when the new 4000 series comes out. you think ill have decent luck selling a 3800x or 3900x though?
im looking into the gpu portion of the buy now. im still drawn to the 2080ti... im not trying to come across as someone who can just blow money out his A$$ but that little bit of performance id gain is a prominent reason i want to get it. if i was able to fit two GPUs into this i prob wouldnt care but im worried, and want every bit of performance i can get out of this computer.
so if im looking at those CPU block charts right if i have a pump that can handle the restrictive properties that some of them come with would the AC kryos NEXT also be the best block for me?
If you can spent the bucks get a 3900x (if you find one in stock) that thing should boost better but be aware amd ocs dofferently to intel there is only 1 oc variante for single core oc as i know till today ( and somebody correct me if im wrong).
And thats ryzen master you habe to run it everytime you start up the system manualy apply and its verry confuzing. I opted for manual my example runns at 4,25 1,26vcore high LLC all cores the single core is a bit worse than what you get from stock but this way o dont have to go over 1,3 vcore so the temps stay low for a potential 100mhz not worth for me. But i also do rendering.
And i think you will be able to sell the 3900x good in a years time. 3800 i have no ecperience with. There is only 2 solid board options gigabyte aorus 570-i
Witch im running and the asus rog strix 570-i gaming (witch i bought aswell to test single core cloking in bios but never got around to test it.
As the gigabyte goes the masive pasive cooling on the back provide you with vrm temps around 60 deg with a gentle airbreeze witch you will gabe from rads.
And the small fan barely spinns it it does it runs at a comfy 2800rpm so you dont pick it up above the pump
Ram is quiet important if you can afford the hight get the g.skill neo 3600 cl 16 16 or 32 gig kitt that gives you the most bennefit since ryzen 3000 only clocks the fabric 1:1 till 3600 beyond that its quiet tricky

That should doo the trick if you want to save some bucks:
Get cl16-18 variant its around 114 on amazon
But be awared of the higher clearance.
And the vga.
I personaly would go for the 2080 super
(But be awared the fans on the evga make a tiking noise when they spinn up its acomon issue and there is only 1 thing you can doo about it and thats set the fans to be always on in msi afterburner)
And a cheap waterblock like a ek or something and replace it. With new vga gen next year nvidia shpuld have 7nm so that should be a big jump and potentialy get a pcie gen4 witch they still probably wount be able to utilize.
Here you see that on 4k in a real game the 2080ti doesnt come anyway near 120fps
So the monitor and gsync will matter more than fps/hz i would get something like
As i sayed i would go for the 2080 super bump the memory since its factory underclocked to 14500 (not to step on the 2080ti heels) and it has samsung modules witch are rated to 16000
And would rather get a good monitor
Preferably witg freesync and g sync compatible so you dont get tied to nvidia if amd will ever catchup
