Any thoughts on this package of parts? I like to game but not in a serious fashion. I would like this system to be quiet and fairly small. Is it a bad idea to get the 750W just because it is currently cheaper than the 550W? How would this impact noise levels? I am choosing the 65 watt processor thinking this will run quieter. Is that a good frame of mind or could I get similar results with the 8600K? Any thoughts on the stock cooler in terms of a quiet choice?

Considering your H370 MB, might as well stick with the i5. 750W is good since you can upgrade later. I would spend some money on better fans, since with better airflow your components may run quieter.

Anyone else able to weigh in? Will the 65 watt i5 8600 allow the system to be more quiet than the 95 watt i5-8600k?

I don't believe I would ever overclock, I have made provisions for it in the past and never used it. I am certainly interested in recommendations for good quiet fans. Similarly with the power supply, I am interested in what makes the best sense for this setup, I am not interested in making compromises for what may be.

I am looking for thoughts on the power supply choice. Is Seasonic the best choice in terms of a solid quiet power supply? Looks like the deal on the 750 watt version is no longer available. I want a fully modular unit. What are the benefits of choosing the gold, platinum etc....? What is the right size choice for this setup? Parts picker says this setup will draw 269 watts.

Any mid tier gold rated power supply is fine. Don't over think it. Something in the 500W good rated is good for that build. Platinum is more efficient... Most of the time just bragging rights.
