Discussion Managed to buy a Ryzen 5900 non-x. So, SE-207-XT or Silver Soul 135?

I'm using a Asrock X300 board from the Deskmeet DIY case, installed in a Corsair Obsidian 250D. Said board has direct compatibility with the 5900 right out of the box.

According to vortez's review of the 250D, I can use tower coolers below 140mm in height. My 250D has 2X 80mm case fans for exhaust, so it can help any of the tower coolers out.

Hoping whatever I can go for can cool the 12C/24T CPU.

The Thermalright Silver Soul 135 is probably your best bet.

I am using a 5950X in a Sliger S620 with a SS135 - no temp issues at all.
