Just purchased a Silver Soul 135 as they are now available on Amazon in the USA. On my cooler, I have no quality complaints. The cold plate was nicely polished with no rough surfaces that I could identify - (I even purchased sandpaper just in case). All the fins were unbent and and the top gray plate was properly fitted as well.
With the way the cooler mounting screws are fitted I tested out various other 120x25mm fans - Noctua A12x25, Arctic P12, Scythe Wonder Snail and Scythe Kaze Flex Black - all fit all the way down through the cooler and can be used without issue. I wonder why Thermalright rounded off the corners of the fan as all these others fit just fine. I also had no difficulty using the included fan clips to attached the Noctua A12x25. See photos:

The towers are too close together to install the Phanteks T30 without bending them further apart - which I did not want to do.
Initial quick open bench testing indicated about a 8 degree CPU temperature reduction compared against a Noctua D9L cooler when both are in single CPU cooler fan configuration.
I also checked to see if the cooler would fit into the Lazer 3D LZ7 XTD - it is slightly too tall even without a fan installed.

sucks to be an early adopter eh? Guess I took a bullet for the team XD Interesting it was so easy to fit A12x25. Maybe I just don't have the grip strength LOL

There's a new Amazon seller, has it for $80cad+shipping. I'm assuming that's the one you bought from, much cheaper than it was on Aliexpress. Tempted to run another head-to-head comparison when the new NH-D12L hits the market between the C14S/SS135/D12L, but the two towers don't provide nearly enough RAM cooling so it'd just be an experiment

The cooler was US$57.66 shipping included as Amazon prime member.

Thanks for sharing this testing, it's interesting to see how much of a difference adding a rear case fan makes when using a tower cooler. Was the rear fan set as an intake or as an exhaust?

On a related note, it's good to see everyone comparing fans and temps with these coolers, has anyone done any noise normalized testing between different coolers and fans? I.e. if the C14S achieves the same temps at half the noise or even a few C higher, I would personally choose that cooler for a quieter system.

Rear fan was set to exhaust.
