So i have been looking around for an ultra flat ITX motherboard for a very special build I have been planning for a long time.
(more about that maybe later ;) )

Ideally I would like to have an external PSU, as well as as low as RAM modules as possible.
So naturally thin mini-itx boards are just super ideal for this.

Basically none of those thin mini-itx boards have a dedicated PCIE slot.
Some do have a M2 PCIE 4.0 X4 slot.

However, I just can't find much (user) information about how well the compatibility is with video cards?
Like the ASUS Pro H610T D4-CSM to just give one example.

I also assume that F type Intel processors will never work on these boards?
What are your thoughts as well as experiences?
An additional question is, is it possible to limit the TDP on these boards as well?

(I wasn't able to find any related topics to this, if so, please let me know as well! :) )

Welcome on board !
Thanks, I have been on board for a while, haha

I have no idea why I just missed this entire topic, lol (although the latest post has been a while, so maybe that's why :) )
Do you want me to move the entire question there?

Nope, the m.2 GPU might still be a relevant topic, could it be using riser or real m.2 GPU (those are very limited though).
That was basically also my intention.

I have seen people connecting PCIE risers left and right, but it's still kinda unclear to me how the compatibility is in general?
So even for non-thin ITX motherboards :)

I have been searching for a while, but information in general seems to be thin (lol) spread.

Sorry, it's been a very long day 🙃
I know that problem very well, plus the age also doesn't always help either, hahaha
