ITX in mATX case | mATX in ATX case

Hi, i m wondering if ITX in MATX case and mATX in ATX case will look funny/odd?
Any pros and cons for using smaller board in case that are usually adapted for bigger format?

Maybe one of the advantages of having an ITX board in a MATX case is that you have an insane amount of storage drives and/or you want to cram a lot of watercooling components to achieve extreme cooling?
