repurposing my now unused mATX board for my parents computer and i am looking for a case a small as possible. I will be using onboard graphics, so i can save some space there. will be reusing an atx psu unless i can get an sfx psu for cheap.

Good suggestion, something like the Silverstone ML03 or ML04.
If you're looking for a more upscale model, Streacom FC5 is where it's at.
Using an ATX PSU is going to cost you a lot in volume, since it's a huge brick that needs to go somewhere. If you're not using a dedicated GPU or a workstation-class CPU, you'll be good with even a 300W SFX PSU.

Antec VSK2000 is also pretty small. The MetalFish Metal Solid case in taobao is even smaller. Neither use ATX power but you can get both with an included PSU for under $100.
