I am looking into doing a SM580 SFF Build that will be using the Z390i Strix motherboard. I was looking into getting the Intel 660P 2TB M.2

This M.2 will only be used for my OS and apps like Office 365, discord and so on so mostly general use apps. The reason for going with a 2TB is because I will not be going with a separate SSD for my User library folders (My Documents, My Videos and so on).

Is the 660P fine for what I'm using it for above?
There will be no heavy heavy reads and writes like I stated its only for my OS and small apps. My steam and DCS World Flight simulator will be split between 2 different SSD

Thanks I mean I know its not the best NVME but I was looking for storage instead of getting another HDD or ssd.

What is the different in OS use and app use between a 660P vs a Samsung NVME

You wouldn't be able to tell the difference, it's still plenty fast. Large copying would be faster, but little practical difference beyond that.
