Install Alpenföhn Black Ridge on ASUS ROG Strix B450-I Gaming

Hi,

I am about to mount my first ssf build and I ran into some confusion while installing the Alpenföhn Black Ridge on ASUS ROG Strix B450-I Gaming.

The MoBo has a backplate and some. Should it be removed? Or do you have to leave it on?

I installed my BR without the stock backplate also. No backplate drawn in the installation guide so I guess it is not needed
