Hi Phil from Australia here.

I have been designing micro SFF cases, and have four designs. One five litre case that can take low profile GPUs and 77mm CPU coolers. A second five litre case that can bifurcate the mini-ITX slot allowing two single slot cards. A 4.2 litre sandwich case that can take a low profile GPU and 47mm CPU cooler such as the Alpenfohn Black Ridge low profile CPU cooler. Lastly a micro 2 litre case which can take a pico DC-ATX PSU.
The cases are all 3D printed in panels, and assembled using m3 threaded rods.
I use all four of my designs for differnt purposes. The first case has a Core Ultra 7 265 in it with a 5080 LP GPU, which i use as a mobile gaming system. The second is setup with capacity for a 10 NVMe drive NAS, but I can't afford the NVMe drives at this point of course. The 4.2 litre case is my workhorse case, when setting up test things like an AI computer, or a Games server computer. My 2 litre case is for my HTPC using LibreELEC.
I am 60 years old and was a dinosaur programmer from 1986 to 2004 until I was forced to stop working due to back pain. I did computer support for my local primary school from 2008 to 2018.
I have a stong tendency to continually fiddle with designs to try to improve them "just a little". Whether coding in COBOL, 3D case designs, or building settlements in Fallout 4.
So my current designs all work, but I'm sure I could make them a little better.
If anyone is interested I would love to show images of my designs from TinkerCAD and photos of the cases. Any suggestions or comments would be welcome.
This is my first foray into an internet community (besides comments on YouTube videos), so I don't really know what to expect.

OK, Thank you for that. So this is the five litre SFF gaming case. Both finished, and unfolded. So this case is designed to allow it to be unfolded as shown and lie flat on a workbench as the computer is assembled. The front panel I/O is built for a common one I found on AliExpress. I use the Silverstone FX600 Flex-ATX PSU which I modified by removing the SATA and Molex cables directly from the PCB. Now that the Silverstone FX600z modular Flex-ATX PSU is available, I would use that in preference.

Only sad as I'm a Pommie Imgur reject.../winging

They sound good; all USFF 5L, and under.
How are you finding the Silverstone FX600 noise wise?
I have an aversion to 'jet engine' 40mm fans in Flex PSUs which I haven't investigated further after early bad experiences with unpleasant noise profiles

It is very quiet actually. The CPU cooler pushes air through the radiator from below, so it is pulling outside air into the case and ejecting it out the top of the case. The PSU does not get any of the heated air, either in desktop orientation, or tower orientation (with the PSU at the bottom). Since the PSU's fan faces the back it is also unobstructed, unlike other Flex-ATX cases which place the PSU internally. So the PSU pulls air from outside through the fan, and then sends it out therough the vents on the top and near the cables. To fit the PSU into the case, the cables do need to be sharply turned, but this means the vent next to them is unobstructed too.

Those sound like great design elements, finding the best way to keep Flex PSUs cooler and quiet.
Overtek here in the UK has worked hard to source and supply decent and quiet Flex units, I will be shopping for one at some point soon for my NFC Systems build
