[HELP] MSI 2080 Gaming X Trio

Hi guys,

I recently came into possession of a pre-built PC. It came with a unbranded ATX case and I'm looking to downsize into SFF if possible.

However, I've taken a look around pcpartpicker and having done some research, it seems that there are not many Build threads with the MSI 2080 Gaming X Trio.

I guess part of the reason is because this GPU is 327 x 140 x 55.6mm.

I might have to compromise and just go for a smaller mATX case.

Do you guys think I should stick to my original plan of getting a ITX board (MSI B450i Gaming Pro) or go for a mATX or Fullsize board and look for the smallest possible mATX case that would house the GPU?

Hi,
the SilverStone Raven cases should barely be able to fit that monster. No idea how hot it will run, but it should be possible.

Otherwise mATX will be your best bet.

Having done a little bit more reading, it does seem like mATX is the best option otherwise it'll be cutting it too close and I wouldn't want to sacrifice temp performance just to have a slightly smaller footprint.

Will probably look for a smaller mATX case likebthe Cerberus but that's a little bit too costly for my taste.

Anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
