Hey all, apologies if this has been answered before, does anyone know if there is a reason Silverstone put their optical drive on the RVZ02 above the GPU compartment rather than above the SFX PSU? I'm looking at designing my own SFF case and was wondering if there was a reason for the placement? I'd of thought though a GPU was producing the most heat of any component in a system. I'd quite like to keep the area behind the GPU free, as with a Gigabyte1080 mini you can fit an 120mm CPU cooler behind it. Any help/thoughts appreciated.

It was probably easier and cheaper to put it with the 2.5" drives. As far as I know, the PSU should not, under normal operation, produce enough interference to, well, interfere with any other components.

Cool, thanks for the reply. Annoying, as at least to me in terms of airflow, putting the Optical drive under the PSU makes the most sense. Given it's size don't understand why Fractal didn't just put an optical slot in the Node 202.
