so I'm testing my components out of the case (minus the GPU) and I can't get it to post.
The blue light comes on the HDPLEX, once the power button is pressed the fan spins once or twice then the HDPLEX goes to orange.
Is this a known issue?
The HDPLEX has no instructions which is a pain.

Ryzen 7 has no on board graphics!
So why put HDMI slots on the board?? I have no idea.

I was only thinking the other day I wonder why they don't save space/money on high end gaming CPU where the user is likely to have dedicated GPU.

Borrowed the only GPU we had in my parents house, some EVGA 8400GS, this fan is ridiculously loud!

With Ryzen and the AM4 socket, AMD has merged their CPU and APU lines that previously used AM3 and FM2 respectively. The current Summit ridge processors don't have an onboard GPU, but upcoming Raven Ridge APUs will, and both fit into the same AM4 socket, so the graphics outputs are necessary to support that.
