Discussion Ghost S1 and sandwich case users, what are you going to do when you can't upgrade to RTX 3090?

Formd T1 is the new Ghost S1, "trading it in" soon.

Not seeing it. It's more like an Erector Set masquerading as a SFF PC chassis. To me there is a point where going smaller or larger is purposeless. With CaseLabs that point was the STH10. To each their own tastes and pursuits though.

Sorry to necropost but the xc3 3090 is fine in the ghost s1 mk 2. Had to modify (file) case slightly so ports weren't covered.

I have a Nouvolo case and it can only fit 2 slot GPUs. All of the 3090 partners have at least 2.2 slot GPUs.

I'm tempted to just pre-order the Formd T1 or maybe order an extra stack so I can fit a 2 slot hybrid GPU. Either way, my wallet is screaming.

It’s an issue I’ll think about when and if a 3090 is ever available for sale without scalping and mark-up.

Simple answer: wait until one is available or downgrade to a 3080z
