Yes it will fit. The RTX 3080 is dual slot card with a length of 285mm. So it will fit. For better air flow remove the internal plastic sheet and flip the psu that the GPU can push hot air thorugh it outside the case.
Hello! I've recently purchased your case and today's the day that the card you're talking about becomes available! However, I believe it is 2.2 slot card and not just 2.

Will this still fit if it's 2.2?

With regarding to Nvidia page it is 2 slot and 285x112mm.

Can we really confirm EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 fits into DAN A4? It's actually announced as 2.2 Slot.
It might get pretty close.

After doing some reasearch, I think there's a solution for the Asetek 645LT + Longer GPUs -- it's to use part of the losercard mod to lift the position of the riser. Main downside of doing this is it reduces GPU height, and blocks one of the IO ports on the GPU, but I don't need all 4 video IO ports on a GPU anyway, and neither the XC3 or the 3080 FE have a height big enough for that to matter.

The full losercard mod modifies way more than just the GPU height position, but for the purposes of fitting the 3080 FE or XC3, I think just the riser and PCIE bracket 3D models would be used to lift the GPU height.

You've inspired me to order this mod but more so to cool my 9900K ?
Definitely won't have any issues with GPU length now and should run a lot cooler.

The 2.2 slot should fit with no problems.

Happy to hear that it fits, but I wonder what the thermals are like under a significant load. Looking forward to what Ari has to say in a few days.

So are the pads bowing the side panel out or pushing the card in?

I also wonder if no backplate would let the card be pushed in easier, or if doing so would just bend at the PCIe.

There's a 1-2mm gap even with the backplate -- I'd just leave it on. It's enough space to push the card back with the foam spacers.

Hello.

I am planning on building a PC in the Dan A4 with the following specs:

i7 10700K
32GB DDR4
EVGA RTX 3080
1TB NVMe WD Blue

As the EVGA RTX 3080s ( I'm aware all 3 technically fit ) are really large cards I was wondering whether or not either of these cards will fit in the Dan A4 with the Asetek 92mm AIO.

If not, how big of a performance difference will there be between the Asetek AIO and the Blackridge air cooler?

Please let me know if you have tried this combination.

Still waiting for my 3080FE but here is some thoughts how it could be done:

- air cool your CPU for example BlackRidge, AXP90 or L9a + Fan Duct. If you have a high power CPU like 3900X limit it to 65W in UEFI. The 92mm AIO will add to much heat between PSU and GPU
- add a bottom 92 fan as intake to get fresh air between GPU and PSU
- remove the plastic sheet between GPU and PSU
- use a SFX-L like the "Fractal Design 650W" (ratet for ambient temp of 50°C) and flip it so the intake hole will face the back side of the psu.

Do you guys think the EVGA 3080 black will fit with the asetek AIO and noctua fan? Because as far as I can tell the card does not fit with the losercard mod.

why do you think it wont fit with the loser card mod? just curious what measurements you are looking at cause when I checked it should fit fine. wondering if I looked at the wrong measurements.
