Not gonna lie I’m kinda tempted again. 6600XT doesn’t keep up.
Off topic: I'm sure it holds up better than my AsRock 6500 XT XD I actually put it in a retro gaming build with an i5-3470 with 16gb DDR3-1600. At least the PCIe is 3.0, so it's not TOO gimped.

Hey Till, does the backplate have any thermal pads? Or is it stainless steel IIRC, so probably pointless anyway (except for spacing purposes)

What's the overall thickness of the card with backplate installed?

It's aluminum and I had some thermal pads behind the VRMs - but removed them last time I changed coolers

Overall thickness is 40.5mm - if you would use your old backplate and trim it down to ITX size, about 1.5mm less on the back
