I would like to get my hands on the exact same switch that is used for the ON/OFF and EJECT button on the original xbox.

I know literally nothing about switches, so that's why my initial question is as pale as it is.

No. 3D print a replacement for the PCB, meaning without the circuits.
I have made a ITX PC inside an old xbox and I tried to make the original buttons into on/off and reset buttons. But because of how to original PCB is made with a common ground for all lights and buttons, it gets messed up when trying to couple it to a PC motherboard with separate grounds for each switch. That, and the fact that I might have destroyed the PCB with my incredible noobish soldering skills. Xp
So I would 3D print a board, and install switches that are in no contact with each other.
Just use a through-hole breadboard and solder the switch to it, cutting the breadboard to the right shape. It will probably be a lot easier and hold the switch more securely.
