Hi guys, is it possible to put any gaming video card to Dell Optiplex sff 9020? I know there is PCI-E, but what about PSU? Is there a video card that has low profile, low power consumption?

since you are limited to a low profile graphics card, here are two possible options...

budget (1080p low/medium settings):

performance (1080p medium/high settings):

PS: of course, both can be found much cheaper second hand...

You've got this guy too: https://www.newegg.com/yeston-geforce-gtx-1650-gtx1650-4g-d6-ga/p/1FT-007N-00080?Description=yeston 1650&cm_re=yeston_1650-_-9SIAZUEJB57733-_-Product

I checked out the types of slots the Optiplex 9020 sff has and it looks like the full-size PCIe x16 slot is the second one, but has like an x4 or x8 open slot as its first slot too, so then you could probably do a dual-slot half-height card, but if the card is x16, you'd lose some of its performance, so a single-slot half-height card is the best choice for you if possible \o_o/

If you really want to go sketch, for certain Dell power supplies you can recover just enough clearance to install an RTX A2000 or low profile GTX card by cutting through the power supply casing. Obviously, separating the casing from the power supply during this process, ensuring the metal of the card is not touching the PSU and ensuring there is another method to separate the PSU and GPU is critical.

For extremely obvious reasons, I strongly recommend that you don't try this if you don't know anything about it. For mine, I made sure it was manually discharged, left it for a week, then carefully pulled apart the PSU casing to determine if there was even enough room for a cut to work.

Dell only offers the PCIE x16 slot on top for their Precision models, but with this I was able to fit my RTX A2000 and Elgato 4K Pro MK2 in an Optiplex 9060.

I am not sure if this would actually outperforma a Radeon RX 6400, but the fastest single slot LP option on the Nvidia side is the Quadro T1000. This is basically a GTX 1650 but at 50W TDP and with upto 8GB VRAM.

I can tell you it would! I have a T1000 and it stands head and shoulders over the RX 6400, but the CUDA count (~950 something if I remember correctly) is by far the limiting factor. I never maxed out RAM with the games I play, but performance was subpar. DLSS for the A2000 is honestly such a big plus.
