Hi Guys,

Currently working on my first build to replace my current NAS with a smaller one. Any suggestions are welcome :)
I'm using a Schneider Electric control cabinet as a base for this project.

After arrival I noticed that the back plate doesn't cover the entire body so I'll have to make one myself (need all the space)

It should end up looking like this (perhaps going for 2x2 HDDs instead of one big cage):

Bought a small ITX acrylic base from aliexpress to mount the motherboard on.
Hardware that is going to be used:

Asus H110M-ITX
Intel Core i3 7100T (35W TDP) with Silverstone SST-NT08-115XP cooler.
1x 8GB DDR4
BeQuiet SFX-L 400W modular PSU (got it very cheap of amazon)
2x4TB + 2x2TB.

It should end up like this (with a new backplate that covers the entire space):

Mounted the motherboard tray to the backplate of the case and cut out the area for the i/o shield.
Does anyone perhaps know an alternative for a noctua fan that is 70mm? It's really a bummer they don't make those.

Small update. Didn’t have much time to work on the project.
Received my SFX-L power supply and it seems to be fitting.

Everything is still loose except for the motherboard and fans.

Replaced the CPU fan because it was blocking one ram slot. Conclusion: this one does as well :D

For case fans I went for the 40mm Noctua. Was a bit afraid for noise but they’re actually very silent.
